Appreciate The Moment
As I’m standing in Guitar Center with my husband I realize this place is like a shoe store for men. (Lol) I had been standing so long the sales rep offered me a chair to sit on. It was right on time, as my back was beginning to hurt. I could’ve complained that he was taking too long, but because we are here together I am appreciating this moment that we are sharing right now. I wouldn’t trade it for the world!!
Each chance I get to spend with my kids and my husband, I’m learning to appreciate them in all the moments the good the bad and the ugly. I appreciate the texts, photos and calls I get throughout my day. Most times they make my day brighter.
There are days when I get up and I set out to do everything there is on my to-do-list. I find that it’s so easy to get caught up in the hustle and bustle of the day that we don’t appreciate the moment we’re in.
What I had to remember is the next minute of our lives are not promised and neither is tomorrow. So why not take time to appreciate the moment you’re in right now. Inhale and exhale the air that you’re breathing and be thankful for that moment.
Even though it’s hot outside take a second and appreciate the sunshine. If it’s raining, take a walk in the rain and appreciate the moment. Cherish each moment you have of each day, no matter if it’s good or bad.
So whenever you’re feeling overwhelmed and your mind is racing all over, take a deep breath and enjoy the moment that you have because the next one is not promised!
